Established in 2011, Lo-Fi Flicks is a production company with a commitment to making movies that can restore people’s faith in local films. Lo-Fi Flicks was founded by Joko Anwar, Tia Hasibuan, and Uwie Balfas, who have worked together on various projects. A Copy of My Mind (2015) is the first feature film by Lo-Fi Flicks, co-produced with South Korea’s CJ Entertainment. The movie was produced with minimum budget. Though, the worldwide acknowledgments it got have proven A Copy of My Mind to be one movie that reflects the spirit of Lo-Fi Flicks’ vision. What the movie lacks in the budget is more than made up for by the characters, the excellent script, and the detailed attention to the surroundings.
